Changes in Driventic’s Executive Board
HEIDENHEIM, GERMANY. Driventic announces changes to its Executive Board. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Gregor Wiche will leave the company on September 30, 2026, at his own request. Christoph Günter will succeed him as CEO effective September 1, 2026. In addition, Stefan Bude will take over as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective November 1, 2026, succeeding Interim CFO Anja Wetzel. These personnel changes will take place with sufficient advance notice, allowing for a structured handover of responsibilities.
“Dr. Gregor Wiche played a key role in establishing Driventic as an independent company and laid the groundwork for its successful development. For this, I would like to express my sincere thanks to him. My appreciation also goes to Anja Wetzel, who has led the finance department over the past months with great dedication and a high level of professionalism. With Christoph Günter and Stefan Bude, Driventic is gaining two internationally experienced leaders with proven industry expertise. Together with the existing management team, they will further strengthen Driventic’s competitiveness, consistently align the company with its customers’ needs, and shape Driventic’s future development based on the foundations that have been laid“, says Dirk Hoke, CEO Voith Group.
Dr. Gregor Wiche led Driventic as CEO since its launch in November 2025. Prior to that, he held various leadership positions within the Voith Group for more than 15 years. He was responsible for establishing the Commercial Vehicles Division and oversaw Driventic’s successful journey to becoming an independent company.
With Christoph Günter, an executive with international experience will take over as CEO of Driventic effective September 1, 2026. After holding positions at MAN Commercial Vehicles and Knorr-Bremse, he most recently served as President EMEA at SAF-HOLLAND, where he had overall responsibility for the region’s operations.
“Driventic combines strong technological expertise, long-standing customer relationships, and an experienced international team. I look forward to shaping the company’s next phase of development together with the employees, building on this foundation. In doing so, I will focus on customer-centricity, technological competitiveness, and a clear focus on results,“ says Christoph Günter.
Stefan Bude has more than 25 years of experience in international leadership roles in the automotive and industrial sectors. Most recently, he served as CFO of Orise. He will bring this extensive experience in international business management and finance to Driventic.
“Joining Driventic is an exciting next step for me. I look forward to contributing my experience to further strengthen the company’s financial management. Together with the team, I want to help ensure efficiency and transparency in all financial processes, creating a solid foundation for Driventic’s continued growth,” says Stefan Bude.
The timely succession plan demonstrates Driventic's commitment to continuity, while also laying the groundwork for the company to continue on its current course successfully, together with its customers, employees and partners.
